Installed, a set of CWBs is 24.13 inches by 24.13 inches and supports up to 400 pounds when mounted on a wall with sufficient bearing strength. Charger Wall Brackets are easy to install and models are available with galvanized or powder-coated steel construction for a lifetime of service.
Mounting charging equipment on the wall helps to comply with important safety regulations, including OSHA standard 1910.178(g)(2), which requires employers to provide conditions that protect “charging apparatus from damage by trucks.”
Charger Wall Brackets allow battery room operators to keep charging devices well out of the way of forklift traffic, saving space and preventing damage from accidental impact. Another set of OSHA regulations is even more specific about this requirement. Standard 1926.441(b)(1) states that “battery charging installations shall be located in areas designated for that purpose.” Meanwhile, standard 1926.441(b)(2) echoes the earlier requirement that employers protect chargers from lift truck strikes.
The “charging apparatus” in these regulations refers not just to the charger module itself, but also to charging and power cables. An optional Cable Retractor Mounting Bracket on the CWB allows users to install a Cable Retractor (CR-1), which holds cables safely out of the way of both pedestrian and lift truck traffic.

The High Frequency Charger Wall Bracket – Knock Down Flat (CWB-V1-KD) offers a sturdy and economical solution for wall-mount high-frequency forklift battery chargers.
