The custom Die Pulling Cart is a compact, one-of-a-kind material handling solution designed to solve a very specific product handling challenge. Contact BHS with your unique application requirements at 1.800.BHS.9500.

The BHS custom Die Pulling Cart was specifically designed to safely remove heavy and bulky rollers from a food press. At 8” in diameter and 19” long, each press roller weighs 70 pounds posing the risk of injury from manually removing the rollers from the press. In addition to personal injury risk, there was also the risk of equipment damage of bending the roller shafts if the rollers were not properly supported when removed from the machine.

The Die Pulling Cart eliminates the risk of injury and equipment damage by supporting the rollers on non-marring, poly slides as the rollers are removed from the press. A lead screw, equipped with a standard 1/2" square socket, can be driven by any ratchet, impact or other 1/2" drive tool. The leadscrew moves a set of mechanical jaws which grip the rollers, pulling the rollers from the press onto the cart. Once a roller is loaded onto the cart, 4 locking swivel casters allow the cart to easily be maneuvered.

The custom Die Pulling Cart is just one example of BHS’ engineering solutions for unique handling challenges. Discuss your custom material handling need by calling the BHS sales team at 1.800.BHS.9500.
