BHS Sales Academy Will Provide Training for Material Handling Equipment Dealers

May 13, 2015 - St. Louis, MO - Battery Handling Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of material handling and battery changing equipment, announced the implementation of the Sales Academy, a monthly training program to be held at the company’s St. Louis headquarters.

The Sales Academy will provide BHS material handling equipment (MHE) dealers with expert instruction on the full BHS product line, including battery handling equipment, warehouse equipment, and forklift fleet tracking technology. Attendees will also learn how to use BHS’ online tools to provide customers with appropriate product recommendations and to place orders.

“Our Sales Academy isn’t just about selling to end users, although that’s certainly a component of the program,” said Matt Bierman, Dealer Development Manager at BHS. “It’s about understanding the value of those products and the BHS approach to material handling. We focus on productivity, safety, and ergonomics, which provides a tremendous overall value for our clients in the long term.”

The two-day clinic will include presentations on the compliance surveys that BHS offers to all dealers. Attendees will be able to confidently run through the surveys, providing their clients with the exact equipment they need to establish safer, more productive facilities.

The Sales Academy will take place on the fourth Tuesday and Wednesday of every month, beginning June 23rd and 24th. It will not be held in November and December of 2015, but will resume after the holidays. The program runs from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Tuesday and 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Wednesday.

To attend the BHS Sales Academy, dealers can register online at http://na.bhs1.com/training/sales-academy/. BHS also offers sales training through online webinars.

“We’re reaching out to our partners to help them improve their sales while offering better service to their clients,” said Bierman. “BHS is the only company in the industry with this type of intensive training program, and we’re looking forward to the first Sales Academy in June.”
