BHS, Inc. Releases High-Capacity Wire Pull Carts for Electricians and Electrical Suppliers

June 25, 2018 — St. Louis, MO — BHS, Inc., a leading provider of electrical and material handling equipment, recently announced the latest in their line of cable-and-wire-handling equipment: The Wire Pull Cart. Wire Pull Cart

"Construction electricians really want two things from payout equipment," said Melissa Bowen of BHS, Inc. Marketing. "They want it to store what they need on the install, and they need it to pay the wire out smoothly. Those were our main goals with the Wire Pull Cart."

The latest piece of wire-handling equipment from BHS packs up to 3,000 pounds of electrical wire on any number of reels, with nylon grommets for an even payout. Users can adjust placement of shafts along multiple positions to accommodate the job's required inventory. For one installation, electricians may bring a Wire Pull Cart stocked with 18 smaller spools. On the next, the same team might reconfigure the unit for just two large reels.

"Every job is different, and we wanted to build some flexibility into our carts," Bowen said.

Every Wire Pull Cart features durable steel construction and a powder-coat finish that resists abrasion, chemicals, and impacts. Units are easy to position with heavy-duty swivel casters, and upper corners are fitted with lifting eye bolts for transport into upper-story construction sites. But there's still another way to move this equipment into place, Bowen said. Wire Pull Cart Interior
"You don't see a lot of wire carts built with stock fork pockets," she said. "When you're hauling 3,000 pounds of product in a 1,200 pound cart, though, you're going to want to use a forklift."

Wire Pull Carts are available in two stock models in two sizes. Fully customized units are available on request, Bowen said.
