MAXIMIZING BATTERY EXTRACTOR PERFORMANCE & LONGEVITY
BE-MAX — BHS’s state-of-the-art IIoT package — comes standard with BHS Operator Aboard Battery Extractors (BE), integrating software, hardware, and smart battery handling equipment.
MAXIMIZE OPERATOR ACCOUNTABILITY
The BE’s login requirement gives managers control over who is authorized to operate the machine. Granting access only to trained users ensures best practices are followed, prevents misuse by untrained personnel, and improves battery room safety. Further accountability by requiring operators complete our pre-shift checklist to verify equipment is in perfect running condition.
MAXIMIZE MACHINE HEALTH
BEs are embedded with an array of detailed sensors, offering continuous monitoring. If sensors exceed set parameters, alerts and/or alarms are triggered to notify personnel. Prevent costly downtime and longterm damage by performing maintenance according to real-time data.
MAXIMIZE ASSET MANAGEMENT
Through the BE-MAX Web Portal, planned maintenance, system alarms, and operator activity reports provide oversight of the battery room. Managers also have control to assign operator login, customize alerts, and require the operator daily checklist.
PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE SENSORS PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT
Operator Touchscreen, located on the BE dashboard, tracks login/logout of designated operators, displays system alerts, and tracks manager overrides, communicating data to the manager’s Web Portal.
Geospatial Gyroscopes monitor tilt on X- and Y-axes, sending alerts when factory set parameters for BE levelness are exceeded. This helps identify poor operator practices and repairs needed in order to prevent long term damage.
Oil Temperature is monitored for increases past a set limit to prevent hydraulic system component failure or maladjustment of relief valves, leading to system overheating and shortened oil life.
Oil Filter Sensor detects when the filter is nearing or due for replacement.* |
Oil Pressure is closely monitored to identify signs of a clogged filter, component failure, or maladjustment which could lead to component damage. |
|
Proximity Sensor indicates when maintenance or tampering of dashboard may have occurred. |
|
Foot Pedal Sensor provides real-time data of battery extractor usage. |
|
Oil Level Sensor monitors the oil level to prevent reaching low levels.* |
