Battery Handling Systems, Inc. Expands Offerings At MODEX 2016

Battery Handling Systems, Inc., a leading provider of battery handling and warehouse equipment, will offer comprehensive demonstrations of their latest products at the upcoming Manufacturing and Supply Chain Expo, or "MODEX."

The trade show will be held April 4-7, 2016 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Attendees interested in booking a tour, either of BHS Battery Handling Equipment or of the growing collection of BHS Warehouse Equipment, can email the company at marketing@bhs1.com.

MODEX has been called the "Greatest Supply Chain Show on Earth.” It brings together representatives from the top 850 manufacturing and supply chain suppliers in the United States — and beyond.

“We look forward to MODEX every year,” said Katy Cortinovis, Marketing Manager at BHS. “It’s our chance to talk face-to-face and give people a chance to try out all of our new products. We enjoy seeing the incredible strides made in supply chain industries as a whole.”

In previous years, BHS made a strong showing at the conference, demonstrating total battery room solutions for new and existing customers. This year, however, BHS will offer two shows in one. They’ll exhibit their battery handling equipment alongside a collection of warehouse products that has expanded considerably this past year.

Visitors will find BHS at booth 2575 of the conference, an expansive 80' by 10' space that will be packed wall-to-wall with innovative battery room and warehouse solutions. Most of the space will be devoted to the 53' BHS Mobile Showroom, which offers hands-on demonstrations of several of BHS' top-selling battery handling devices, including a Battery Extractor system (BE), an Automatic Transfer Carriage (ATC), and a Battery Transfer Carriage (BTC).

In addition, the Mobile Showroom features battery and charger stands and a sampling of BHS' safety equipment for battery rooms. Industry professionals will have a rare opportunity to try out many of BHS’ battery handling solutions in a single visit.

Outside of the Mobile Showroom, BHS will demonstrate its growing line of warehouse equipment. A spacious 10' by 27' area of the BHS booth will be equipped with Scissor Lift Tables (LT4K), Order Picking Carts (OPC), and Dumpmaster Bin Dumpers (DM). Visitors will have the opportunity to see the equipment in action and pose questions directly to the experts.

“This is going to be a really special conference for us this year,” Cortinovis said. “We have so many new products that we’re excited to show. We hope to see everyone there.”
