Reviewing 2014: BHS Celebrates the Year’s Accomplishments with New Video

St. Louis, MO – Battery Handling Systems, Inc., or BHS, has recently published an animated video reviewing the company’s activities and accomplishments in 2014. The 2-minute animation details projects and endeavors from all departments.  Marketing Manager Katy Cortinovis says the video was the perfect endnote for the year, “We’ve had an action-packed year and wanted to share our successes with our dealers and customers. The successes we’ve outlined in the video wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated dealers.” The video covers BHS successes from sales to research and development to marketing and branding.

The video shows six new products introduced in 2014: multiple series of Lift Tables, a Dual Transfer Cart, a Parallel Reel Payout, Vertical Charger Mounts, dual and quad Charger Stand Kits, and a stainless steel Watering Cart. It also shows new manufacturing equipment that helped make these new products possible. Additionally, in 2014, BHS refined the Sales Order Process, which is a task list and uniform procedure for acquiring the right information for each order, and established an exact procedure for receiving and fulfilling each order. BHS also renewed efforts to engage dealers with various development tools including the Mobile Showroom, web-based training courses, and cooperative marketing campaigns. Additionally, the global division of BHS, BHS Global, LTD., built and launched two new eStores for international dealers. The new 24/7 access will help expedite the ordering process in spite of significant time differences.

The Year-in-Review video highlights several new marketing and branding initiatives and successes.  In 2014, BHS began offering free marketing materials through the three eStores including customizable sales flyers and high-resolution images. BHS conducted Mobile Showroom appointments at more than 400 facilities with over 1,750 attendees. BHS also increased the number of sessions of Service School, a 3-day training course on servicing BHS battery extractors, from four to nine for the year. It was a busy year for travel as BHS exhibited at five trade shows in the US and internationally.  The BHS blog launched in 2014 and offers expert advice and industry news. 2014 also brought the publication of ten new Sales and Operational videos that are available to stream on the BHS website. The videos were filmed in the three new on-site showrooms created at the BHS manufacturing facility in St. Louis, MO. The showrooms feature fully functioning equipment for several types of industrial battery extraction and are available for customer tours and demonstrations.

Ms. Cortinovis explains why the Year-in-Review video is so important, “The video is an engaging way for us to share our many accomplishments all in one place. In two minutes, the viewer is able to learn what we are all about and what we are capable of achieving. The video format allows us to connect with our current dealers and show them what we have accomplished together while also allowing us to connect with potential dealers and clients in a vibrant and informative way.” She continues, “The resounding theme for 2014, was refocusing on what makes our products and our approach stand out – efficiency, precision, quality, and reliability."
