August 18, 2015 – St. Louis, Missouri — Battery Handling Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of material handling and battery changing equipment, announced Melissa Rost as the company’s Inside Sales Account Manager for its North American warehouse equipment division.
Rost will engage with BHS dealer partners, provide product training, and manage all aspects of the sales process from quote to shipment. As a warehouse equipment specialist, Rost has developed an extensive knowledge of BHS products, which will allow her to effectively inform BHS dealers and customers.
“Melissa is our go-to person for our growing line of warehouse equipment,” said Julia Yank, Sales Manager at BHS. “She has great relationships with BHS clients, and we’re excited to see her excel in her new role.”
In addition to account management, Rost will assist Dealer Development Manager Matt Bierman in establishing relationships with new dealers across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Bierman and Rost will organize on-site training programs and provide each dealer with a dedicated point of contact.
Rost will also play a significant role in BHS’ new Sales Academy, which takes place on the fourth Tuesday and Wednesday of every month. The program provides dealers with detailed information regarding BHS products and sales tools. Rost will supply instruction for the warehouse equipment portion of the Sales Academy.
BHS has recently added to its warehouse equipment division, introducing a series of new products including reel payouts, bin tippers, order picking carts, and shipping/receiving desks. The company’s warehouse products are designed with modern ergonomic principles to improve worker safety and productivity.
