Battery Handling Systems, Inc. Adds to its Growing Line of Warehouse Equipment

August 22, 2016 - St. Louis, Missouri - Battery Handling Systems, Inc. (BHS), a leading manufacturer of battery handling and warehouse equipment, introduced five new warehouse product categories in late June of this year.

“We’re excited to expand our warehouse equipment line with a new set of ergonomic products,” said Katy Cortinovis, Marketing Manager at BHS. “Just like our battery handling equipment, these machines are made of heavy duty steel, so they’re perfect for industrial applications.”

The new additions to the BHS Warehouse Equipment lineup include:

  • Tilt Tables - BHS Tilt Tables (TT) hold loads at a comfortable working height and angle. Push-button controls allow the operator to conveniently adjust the table via a self-contained hydraulic power unit. The Powered Mobile Tilt Tables (PMTT) add polyurethane load rollers and two casters for effortless maneuverability.

  • Cylinder Transport Equipment - The BHS Cylinder Transporter (CT), Cylinder Transporter Cage (CTC) and Cylinder Storehouse (CSH) allow for safe storage and transport of industrial compressed gas cylinders such as propane or propylene.

  • Material Carts - With capacities of up to 1,000 pounds, BHS Panel Carts (PC) provide safe, efficient transport for sheets and panels. A steel frame and a carpeted deck protect SKUs, while high-quality rigid and swivel casters improve efficiency.

  • Forklift Work Platform - The BHS Forklift Work Platform (FWP) is designed for overhead maintenance tasks. It attaches securely to a forklift, providing workers with a sturdy platform deck with anti-skid surfacing. The operator gate has a latch that can be padlocked, and two safety harness attach points allow for additional protection.

  • Racks - BHS Sheet Material Racks (SMR) provide safe storage for heavy sheets of large materials, with a compact footprint. The side arms can be removed for extra-long loads, and four-way fork pockets allow for easier positioning.

The new products are currently available through BHS dealers, and more information is available on the company’s website.

“Our goal is to provide businesses with well-engineered products that improve efficiency while keeping staff safe,” said Cortinovis. “These are excellent additions to our warehouse equipment lineup, and we’re confident that we offer the best set of comprehensive resources in our industry.”
